Paper Format

Authors, please ensure that your manuscript adheres to the conference paper formatting guidelines.

You can access the complete paper template here and the abstract template here.

The Title Page should contain the author's name, affiliation, and contact information.

Pre-submission Check
Originality Verification:

Authors are strictly prohibited from submitting papers that have been published previously or are under consideration elsewhere. All submitted papers will undergo an originality check upon receipt. Authors must ensure that the submitted paper is entirely original. Any use of work or words from others should be properly cited or quoted.

Language Review:

Authors are advised to meticulously review the spelling and grammar of their papers prior to submission. This ensures clarity and readability for editors, reviewers, and future readers.

Relevance to Conference Theme:

Submissions must be directly related to the conference theme and fall within the scope of the event. Any submissions not aligned with the conference focus will be promptly rejected.

Authorship Criteria:

Authors should be individuals who made significant contributions to the study. Any other individuals who contributed substantively to the paper but are not qualified to be co-authors should be duly acknowledged in the acknowledgments section. All sources of funding and potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed in the Authorship Statement.

Submission Requirements
Language Use:

Papers must be composed in English or French, covering all elements such as figures, tables, references, and appendices.

Length Criteria:

A minimum of 5 pages is required for submissions. Any additional pages beyond this standard will incur an extra charge.

Accepted Formats:

Submissions in either DOC or PDF format are welcome.

Originality Criterion:

Only entirely original papers will be considered. Manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor accepted for publication elsewhere, nor be under review by any other conference or publication during the review process.

Presentation Guidelines

Accepted papers are required to be presented at the conference. The conference organizer will provide the necessary technical facilities for presentations, including a laptop, projector, pointer, and microphone. Please note that internet access is not guaranteed, so having an external storage source is essential. If you require additional software for your presentation, please contact HKSRA staff in advance to confirm its feasibility.

Presentation Formats
Oral Presentation:

Oral presenters will be allocated 15 minutes, including time for questions and answers.

Poster Presentation:

Poster presenters should prepare an A0-sized poster (1189mm x 842mm) for display at the conference.

Plagiarism Detection

Authors are strongly encouraged to perform a similarity check using iThenticate before submitting their papers. Please be aware that plagiarism detection will be conducted throughout the review and publication process. If a paper is withdrawn or rejected due to a high percentage of similarity, no refunds will be issued.
